A playground for wildlife

One of the most expansive spaces we’ve worked on, across two summers, started with the removal of two dead trees, opening up a huge space which needed fresh definition. We used the introduction of a new boundary wall to bring structure, centring the new planting around a much-loved tree and creating a mini-orchard area and wildflower meadow to ensure its pollination. Partnering with specialist electricians we built in smart-lighting to artfully illuminate access and socialising spaces and to bring dramatic definition to zones.
