A garden with a little of everything
This lucky terrace was blessed with a long, open garden with an incredible view out to the Peaks. Starting with a blank canvas, we used a mix of features including a pergola, bespoke planters, wood store and pleached trees to break up space and usage and create privacy and a sense of seclusion. It’s created a bright, beautiful sanctuary that embraces its position and welcomes in wildlife. One of our favourite ever projects.

We created a mix of open and private spaces to bring dynamism and distinction to each area.

Dark baton fencing contrasts with beautiful bright foliage and makes a feature of privacy screens.

This was a sizeable, sloping, blank canvas of a space.

Regular planted beds makes for a busy, colourful space - features like the small galvanised pond bring peace.

Larch decking connects the house to the pergola at the end. Bespoke planters bring privacy, structure and colour.

A bespoke larch pergola and wood store will age beautifully in time.

Clay pavers add some contemporary formality, with green borders warming it up.
